Surprise! I’ve been nominated for the American Heart Association’s Woman of Impact 2025 here in Charleston. I am beyond honored to be nominated! This is a fundraising competition that kicks off Friday February 7 and runs through April 10.
More details from the American Heart Association below:
Each year a select group of individuals from communities across the country are nominated to be a part of this 9-week blind competition because of their passion and drive to make a difference. Supporting the mission of the American Heart Association, nominees will Go Red together by educating their networks about the risk factors and warning signs of heart disease and stroke, building a culture of health in their communities and raising critical funds. As women, we know that heart disease can unfairly target us at any age, stage or season of life. Woman of Impact nominees will become a resource for women everywhere, bringing together their network to form an impact team, set a goal, explore fundraising resources and make an impact on their community. At the end of the campaign, the nominee that makes greatest impact and raises the most funds locally will be named the local Woman of Impact winner. Additionally, the nominee whose team earns the most points nationwide will be named the American Heart Association National Woman of Impact Winner.

I have so many fun activities lined up to raise funds and awareness for heart health, disease and prevention over the course of the next few months. The program culminates in the Go Red for Women Luncheon on Thursday, May 22 (table sponsorships are available, just email me!).
