Friday Faves: Volume XXIV

Hello, hello! If you’re reading this on Friday, I’m in between Huron and Morgantown! First solo trip back to West Virginia in months. Summer in the mountains just feels right. It’s a quick WV trip so I can get back to the grandparents and the Lake Erie mild temps.

Amazon Prime sale was so good this year, I was well-behaved and I got some really great finds! The Nordstrom sale is still going on, and while there’s a lot I don’t need, I have found some good finds!

I’m trying to not do a TON of clothes shopping, because I have so much fun on my calendar in the next few weeks!
Speaking of: do you have plans next Friday? If not and you’re local, I would love for you to attend the South Carolina Aquarium’s JuLionfish Festival. It’s such a fun event, 21+ and who doesn’t love drinks at the aquarium?! (PS: I have a promo code I would be happy to share, just let me know!)

Anyway, country roads are leading me home today and here’s my faves this week!

What I’m Loving:
-I’ve had these gold heels bookmarked for truly three months and they’re on sale at Nordstrom. The perfect height and will be so good on my next few trips!
-I love this candle so much and it’s also on sale at Nordstrom. I’ve bought it twice before and forgot Nordstrom had it included in their sale.
-These sunglasses are another Nordstrom find, and I love a sale.
-I haven’t bought this dress, but I just think I NEED it for my birthday trip. It’s so me.
-I think I shared these glasses last week, but I just can’t get over how cute they are. They’ve completed my collection.
-I’m back on the train of thinking I need new Vejas (if you’ve seen me in person in the last few weeks, you know). Do I need a new pair? Are Gucci sneaks and Goldens 100% out now?

What I’m Reading/Listening to:
-I FINALLY finished Youthjuice and y’all. It’s something. If you’re into a darker read, it’s worth reading. It’s a short one, under 300 pages!
-I started The Honeymoon on Audible this week, and I’ll be finished today. Man goes missing in Venice. Say no more.
-I’m starting I Hope this Finds You Well in the next few hours and the summary sounds so fun!

I’ve got Made for You bookmarked on the top of my shortlist TBR list, but can’t decide if it’s too similar to Annie Bot. Has anyone read both?

Finally, I’m really leaning into hobbies these days. Between mahjong and needlepoint, I could be 100% content almost always staying home. My needlepoint headlamp is a real game changer for late night in-bed stitching.

Have the best weekend!
