Friday Faves: Volume XI

How are we already at the first Friday of April? I have no idea, but I do know that I have some very exciting plans in about four weeks from now and I can’t wait.
It’s a big weekend here in Charleston: Cooper River Bridge Run, Flowertown Festival, and the Lowcountry Strawberry Festival.
Did you read my April events post? If not, there’s more information on what’s happening this month here.

Not only are there SO many things going on this weekend, it’s also day one of THEE big Sephora sale. It starts today and you can save up to 20% off this week. Here’s a few items I’ll be doing an in-store pickup on this weekend!
-My favorite lip mask (how many times have I talked about this?!)
Vegamour Dry Shampoo (another staple)
Drunk Elephant Bronzing Drops (more on the brand below)
Fenty Lip Stain: this is a new try for me, but I am really wanting to nail down a lip stain before my big trip in May. Has anyone tried this?!

I never leave home without this. Ever.

What I’m Listening To:
We went on a quick road trip to Atlanta last week and always find a podcast we both want to listen to and that is almost always How I Built This. This weekend we listened to the Drunk Elephant episode and not only did I walk away with wanting to buy more from this brand, but I also immediately was inspired to think “I can do anything” . . . and immediately carved out time for a home renovation project in my guest bathroom (more on these here).

I told you . . . I literally was inspired.

What I’m Reading:
THIS IS MY WEEK! Two five star books to report on, and I’m starting a new book today at my desk!
Strange Sally Nugent: I love, love, LOVED this. SO good. This was a quick, but fascinating one for me. It’s our April book club read and I can’t wait to hear what everyone else thought of it.
West with Giraffes: I wish I could explain why I waited so long to read this book, but wow wow wow. I listened to it in truly 48 hours. I can’t wait to revisit this one.
What the River Knows: I’m starting this as I type but it has come SO highly recommended by several of my reader friends. I can’t wait to dive in.

I’ve got so much more, but I’m off to a showing! Remember, if you’re in the market to buy or sell, I would be HONORED to help you!
Have a fab weekend!
xx
