Friday Faves: Volume XXVII

What a WEEK this has been! I admittedly did not know about Tropical Storm Debby until Sunday when I was checking in for my return flight to Charleston from New York. I was in a Manhattan bubble! Ah!
It’s been a wet week, and I’ve reveled a bit in a few days home to hobby.

Hobbies. It’s a joy to have time for hobbies. I’ve been deep diving into reading (which has always been a fave), needlepoint and mahjong. Did you know I’ve added teaching mahjong to my resume? If not, you do now! I would love the opportunity to teach you if you don’t know how. Let’s chat!

Anyway, this week’s favorites are a couple of things I brought with me to NYC, a few products I’m still LOVING and the books I’ve been reading. Weather permitting, we’ve got a full weekend of fun ahead of us and more birthday fun into next week. Yay!

What I’m Loving:
-I bought this jumpsuit specifically for my in-person Peloton ride this past weekend in NYC. 2,000 rides is a huge milestone, so it merited a cute fit. The material is amazing and such a great price point. Love love love.
-I’m reordering my favorite deodorant again. The smell is so good and I really like the refillable aspect of it. The subscribe & save on Amazon is so nice too.
-I took this French hair and body oil with me to New York, and I have to tell you: body oil in a spray nozzle is a luxury. You can’t beat this price or smell. It’s a true two-in-one product and will be a forever repurchase. I think I mentioned it over Prime Day, but it’s a steal of a product for the price.
-I originally bought these jeans back in the spring before Europe & they have been my most-worn jeans this summer. I know denim in summer doesn’t often get a ton of wear or conversation, but these are just so cute. And comfy!
-THIS TRAVEL STEAMER. Y’all. It’s perfect. It works so well and fits easily in the luggage. If you don’t have one, go ahead and order this because it’s a game changer.

I ordered the majority of my clothes for this trip (and for next week’s birthday trip) from a new-to-me website. Shipping is a little slow and I would definitely consider it fast fashion-adjacent (which admittedly I don’t love) BUT the quality for the cost can’t be beat. There’s the chicest olive green dress I wore on our last night in the city that I can’t get enough of. I plan on fully outfit repeating this dress through the early days of fall, you’ve been warned.

Have the best weekend! xx
