WHEW. It feels like it’s been one second since Thanksgiving and also a million years since Black Friday. Or is that just me?! I got back from Ohio on Sunday, went to Durham for a game and then back in action for a BIG weekend.
Saturday is one of my favorite events of the holiday season, Sea Life by Star Light, put on by my board, Ocean Alliance benefitting the South Carolina Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Care Center. This has been a week of having packages delivered and sorting out Christmas gifts. A few things I ordered for myself this past week came in, and my Black Friday roundup still has some really great deals going on!
What I’m Loving:
-I am loving my velvet pants I bought a few weeks ago, they’re perfect for chillier events this time of year!
-I ordered the perfect holiday top during the Tuckernuck sale, and I’ve got plans for it for next week!
-This skirt gets delivered today, I’m really excited for the color in person. Lots of reasons for red next year!
-Another pop of red, I ordered the cutest maxi dress (I’ve got it in a blue & white print I wore in Monaco), it’s the perfect length and really great for a year-round piece in Charleston. I’m excited to layer it with a chunky sweater.
-I’m trying out a new layering tank, it’s on super sale and makes a great basic staple. Perfect for under sweaters!
-I upgraded my tree to a tree collar, and after a LOT of research; I landed on the perfect one. Under $50 too!
This is NOT glamorous, but who else forgets to clean and descale their Nespresso machines? Just me? If you’re like me, you need the descaling solution and the difference in how my machine is working seems to be a major improvement.
What I’m Reading/Listening to:
-I finished a really, really great audiobook this week. It’s been one of the most fun ones I’ve listened to recently.
-As I’m writing this, I’m finishing Drop Dead Sisters and it’s really good (FREE on kindle unlimited!).
