Friday Faves: XLII

Happy Friday! WHAT is this cold weather?!
I know, I know. I should be used to it. But GOSH, it’s freezing out!
I feel like I’m slowly getting settled into 2025, at a little slower pace than most years, and realizing that that is just fine. Goals, word (maybe words) of intention, and some short-term Q1 desires are all hopefully coming next week (they’re all on the agenda and to-do lists!).

What I’m Loving this Week:
-I finally found them. THE JEANS. The pants I have been searching and searching for. Agolde makes some of the best denim, and the fit is great. Runs true to size and I don’t have to have them hemmed!
-In my quest for the perfect light wash jeans, inspired by the cutest stranger at Costco, I found two more pair: this full-length pair that is beyond flattering and this more traditional, no stretch pair.
-I’m leaning into hearts, pink and red this year (exciting news to come!!), so these cute heart earrings are beyond perfect!
-I have my eyes on this dress, but know I don’t need to pay this much for something I may not wear a ton. Anyone know of a good dupe?!
-I bought this maxi dress. Not sure where I will wear it, but you cannot beat the price. Everyone needs it!

I mentioned that my goals and words of intention are still being finalized for this year, but I have on project that I’m ready to share: every week I am writing down one happy that happened that week, and putting it in a large jar. The plan is to read it on New Year’s Eve to reflect on the year!
Join me?!

What I’ve Read/Listened to this Week:
She’s back on her reading game!
-I went back to the most recent Sally Rooney release, and sadly did not love at all. If you read, what did you think!?
-I finished the fourth book in the You series, and honestly loved it. It was funny and witty and had excellent pop culture references.
-I’m finishing up our January book club pick as I type this and I really am enjoying it. There’s a bit of death at the beginning that can be triggering, but I surprisingly did well with it.

LOTS and lots of football on this weekend, and I’ve got lots of plans to make this a working weekend where I continue to prep for the year ahead!
Any fun plans?! Remember to check out my January calendar of events!
xx
