What a week to kick off the weekend!!
This past week has been good for the soul, much-needed time with Poppy. I’m so ready for him to be closer to me!
August really is one of my most favorite months, if not my favorite. Yes, it’s disgustingly hot out, I know. But there’s something about August that gets me so excited for the second half of the year. It’s probably the combination of my birthday (next week!), football season starting, and the idea of September and October days ahead. I really have found myself loving fall the most over the past few years. In a way, I feel like August preps me for fall excitement? Weird, I know.
Anyway, a lot of faves this week!
What I’m Loving this Week:
-I had a mini panic when I thought I had left my new pre-blow dry spray in Morgantown. Alas, it was in a different bag?! I’m a bottle in and I can tell you it’s made a different with frizz and shine this season.
-These Mother jeans are on my list, and I would love for you to tell me if I can actually pull these off?
-Dillard’s. What a blast from the past. I’ve gotten a few things there this spring and have been shocked at how good their own lines are? A few faves in my cart: a red square-necked midi, a cream two-piece (it’s mine, a need), printed palazzo pants (OMG!) and this A-line midi is adorable.
-It’s no secret that the Somerset collection at Anthropologie is nothing short of perfection, but have you seen these new pants? I need them. I know I do.
-Last week, I shared a few items on my wishlist, they’re still there BUT it is tax free weekend so . . . maybe they move in with me?
-I’m trying a new lippie this week, it will be delivered to chs today and I can’t wait to try it out.
–I . . . want these shoes. They’re so nostalgic and I really want them.
The sequel to one of my favorite books (and tv shows) comes out in January. Yes, January. BUT it will be here before we know it!
New Stacy Willingham is on its way to me, YAY!
