Happy Sunday! How was your week? How was the weekend? I’m in Southern Pines and loving a slow-paced weekend, that’s travel but not travel. After this weekend away, I’m nose to the ground in Charleston with several new listings. Yay!
Speaking of: this cutie is still on the market and waiting for you to make it yours! It’s vacant, easy to show and really, really cute. PLUS you can short term rent. A win-win.
Last week, I shared the news about selling Blue Gold Sports. I have to be honest, it feels really good to have closed that chapter of my life. I still love love love West Virginia football, but just enjoying the game and not stressing about managing a staff all weekend is SO NICE. Now I just wish our team had a better record, but at least we beat p*tt. ESP.
This past week I finally found my way back to the kitchen. And the grocery store. I’ve been so on the go the past few months that cooking has taken a back burner to just fueling and eating what I can. I cooked A MEAL Thursday night. It was so good. Straight out of my current favorite cookbook. Don’t ask questions, just order it. It’s as good as its big sister (she’s half off right now and FREE on kindle unlimited. Run, don’t walk).
Speaking of running . . . I’m running the Kiawah marathon in December. The full. 26.2 miles. Cue the big gulps. Local? A runner? An avid outdoorsman that wants to bike while I run to keep me company? Let’s chat. Shoe recs? Fuel and snack recs? Hit me up, tell me everything. I bought these shoes and ran 16 in them and LOVED them.
I stayed up until TWO IN THE MORNING Friday night watching my beloved Mountaineers lose . . . again. While doing so, I found some cute things that are now centered on my fall wish list. Productive, I guess?
I love a shift dress, this anthro one is feminine, oh so Paris chic and adorable. A need.
My favorite mini shirtdress. IN JACQUARD. Say no more.
Already in my closet, and worn several times this week, the perfect woven flat. SO comfy. Now I wonder if I need a second color.
THIS ORGANZA DRESS. No notes.
I loved this style last fall, and never purchased. Maybe this is the year?
Wildly obsessed with this purple from Hill House. It just screams fall. Speaking of Hill House, the last few days of their fall sale are upon us and a favorite long style is on sale, as are two that I am looking at: one funky blue one and then this one with puffy sleeves. I love a sleeve.
Admittedly, I haven’t LOVED any of the books I’ve read lately with the exception of the first book in a new series. There was a TWIST I did not see coming.
I’ll leave you with one more link, a super sweet friend is fundraising for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Charleston. Check this out if you’re so inclined.
Have the best end to your weekend.
See you at a Sunday spot next week.
🙂
