Friday Faves: Volume XVI

Bonjour! I’m back! I took about a two week hiatus from this corner of the internet and hopped over to France and Monaco. What a treat that was!
Now, we’re back in business and ready to play catch up and get back to a routine.
(You know I LOVE a routine, right?!)

I’m sure you know this, but French pharmacies are an entirely different world in comparison to an American pharmacy. The products and the prices are UNREAL. I fell in love with a few items and I’m sharing those today!

French pharmacy loves:
-This dry shampoo: Yes, I know I talk about dry shampoo often. This one almost felt moisturizing, in a way? I feel like most make my hair start to truly feel dry, but this one I used my entire trip and could not get over how my hair felt. Several were put in my luggage for the trip home.
La Roche Posay Redness Reducer: This moisturizer was a steal in France, and I can’t say enough good things about it. This is technically for Rosacea, but I felt like it was so soothing for the days after too much sun (Antibes boat day and our day trip to Île Sainte-Marguerite).
La Roche Posay Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream: This body cream is so thick and just great to put on to end the day
Marvis Toothpaste: This is not a new product to me, but I loved getting to snag a few of the more unique toothpastes. What’s one you would try?!

A Bonus Luxe Product I LOVED:
Diptyque Body Lotion: I am well aware of this price tag, but our first hotel we stayed at in Paris had ALL Diptyque toiletries (WHAT A LUXURY) and this body lotion was truly a highlight. I have it in my shopping cart for when I need a little pick me up. This would be the ideal hostess gift or a sweet treat for a dear friend.

I also discovered a few brands that I will be doing a little research on and maybe ordering some fun products to try: SVR and La Rosée. They had SO many products in City Pharma, but I just didn’t have the time to research. I’m really excited to research and learn more about both brands.

What I Read on Vacation:
I feel like I knocked off a few of my TBRs on my trip!
The Social Climber: I don’t know why I waited to read this, but I did NOT see the twist in this and gasped on the plan home. Really enjoyed this!
Bye, Baby: This was a quick read, and I could not put it down! It was my book I read while adjusting to the time change the first few nights of our trip!
The Heiress: This was a slow start for me, but I enjoyed it. It kept my attention when I didn’t want to watch tv on the plane over!
I’m almost done with The Sicilian Inheritance and I can’t put it down. Another one I find myself reading in the middle of the night!

A few items in my cart:
A NOT blue & white Farm Rio dress: I just can’t quit blue & white. Try as hard as I may, but I can’t do it. This one is so cute and NOT blue.
Veja Esplars: I’ve had several pair of Vejas and the Esplar are my favorites. I feel like I ‘need’ this pair.

I hope you have the best weekend, I can’t wait to see so many of you in person now that I’m back!
