Friday Faves: Volume XV

WHEW. It’s Friday. This week started out so fun, and definitely got truly chaotic. I’m grateful for the positive thoughts, grace and love I’ve been given. Having a super supportive circle is so important, let me tell you.

On to brighter things, I finally made a few spring purchases that I really love. I’m excited to share them with you.
I’m also bringing you a few of my May intentions. I love goals, but this month I am reframing my words from goals to intentions. (Goals are a fave of mine, so this tracks on this post).

The Fashion
Spring Purchases I LOVE:
-These sandals are amazing. Ordered last week, they arrived this week and the instant comfort in them. WOW.
-The perfect spring dress. I love the sleeves, I love the length, I love everything about it. So so so good.
Dolce Vita heels. I will forever love their heels. The perfect height, I never get a blister, just the best.

What I’m Reading:
The Quantum Chain: This is the fourth in a series and I don’t believe the author has written the fifth book. THE. ENDING.
Family Reservations: I started this on Wednesday, it’s a slower start but I love to read about the restaurant industry (and some family drama), so it’s a good combo so far.

May Intentions:
Whew. May 1st came in Miley style, like a true wrecking ball, but I’m hoping for the best on a few matters. I love goals, but I really wanted to set some mindful intentions for my month (on top of my goals).
-Breathe: This seems simple, but I want to take time daily to breathe, intentionally, for myself. It truly sounds easier said than done for me, I’m always on the go and doing for others. Intentionally breathing for myself is one way I think I can start to prioritize myself a bit more.
-Go. With. The. Flow. : I really, really want to lean in to being a tad bit easy breezy. I’m Type A, and I know sometimes I just need to truly not try to schedule or plan . . . anything.
-Asking for Help: I’m not great at this. Whether I’m hosting or doing something as a group, I tend to do it all. In May, I am going to lean in to asking for help and being gracious in accepting that help.

On a lighter note, I leave for a VERY fun trip tomorrow morning! I’ll be gone for about two weeks, and I can’t wait for you all to follow along! Are we friends on Instagram? Come along with me here.
