A Sunday Spot: 27

First Sunday of June, what a treat! I am really leaning into an easy breezy summer, even with everything I have planned and on my calendar. There’s so much to look forward to this summer and I’m so excited for it all. But I’m also excited for lazy(ish) summer days, long al fresco meals and sunshine.
This was a packed week, but a good week! Mahj, work, friends, dinosaurs (yes).

The big news over here? Mountaineers are OMAHA BOUND!!! College World Series, here we come! From a program that was almost cut to a regional and a super regional host, West Virginia is off to Omaha for the first time.

And I think I need a jell-o shot or four (iykyk)

I am happy to say that I put one of my active listings under contract this past week as well (yay!) and am down to just one cute little townhome that needs a new homeowner! Please share!

I listened to an amazing memoir this week, but there was a grief/death of a loved one moment that gutted me. Crying in my coffee cleaning the kitchen moment. Grief’s funny like that, you never really know when it’s going to hit you in the chin.
I read a restaurant book that was light and easy, and mildly reminiscent of The Bear.
I finished my reality tv dystopian thriller and loved it.
And topped my week’s reading off with a quick thriller about a serial killer and his daughter. A super super easy one to listen to at your desk!

Any book recs for me?!

I’m still crowdsourcing any options or ideas for restaurants and things to do in London and Paris! I have admittedly not planned as much as I normally do!

Things I’m loving this week:
-The new Livro collection is too good: the shorts, a classic collared dress and a high neck dress really speak to me.
-I am on the fence on these sandals. I know they will be comfortable but are they too . . . just not me? I think I know my answer.
-J.Crew is killing it per usual. I love the brown collection. Obsessed with the dress, the boat shoe x espadrilles, and the printed pants (which I know I do not need).
-My all-time favorite lippie is in a new mini set. Run right now.
-Hill House has me in their grips with the summer collection, the batik print in a favorite style is 10/10. I love the same print in a mini and THE STRIPES.
