Friday Faves: XXXV

Happy Friday! It is WILD to me that we’re in October. I feel like September really did fly by.
Did you have a chance to check out my October calendar? There are so many fun activities going on around town this month!

Serious question: how many times is too many times to watch Hocus Pocus this month? While Halloween is admittedly not my thing, I do love all things Halloween candy, Reese’s pumpkins and watching some nostalgic 90s fall movies.

This was quite the week, a LOT of work, with truly a little bit of downtime. I’m hoping to carve some downtime into my schedule this weekend . . . ish.
I’m also really hoping I wrap up one of my bigger needlepoint projects this weekend so I can hope to send it off for finishing!

What I’m Loving this Week:
-My favorite silk pillowcases are 40% off this week, a great time to stock up!
-My favorite shampoo has been out of stock for several weeks and I’m running low. I’m ordering this shampoo from the same brand to try it out. I feel like the price point isn’t too terrible!
-I’ve been using this cleansing balm for double cleansing at night and I love the smell and the texture. It’s a little pricey, but worth it.
-I shouldn’t admit this but I have worn three dresses on repeat the last few weeks: this black dress, this green dress and a second green dress. All three have really completed my fall wardrobe.
-I’ve worn these slingbacks several times this week as well and they are SO comfy. Also under $40 right now!
-This coat has me in a chokehold. I love it so much. Someone tell me I don’t need another coat.
-My favorite face mask is back in stock! Pricey, but so worth it!

What I’m Reading/Listening to this Week:
THIS BOOK was the best thing I’ve read in a few months. I loved it so much. If you’re looking for a great story that has a few family storylines, this is it.
What Have You Done? is our October book club book and I really can’t wait to discuss it!
The Wedding People ended so well. I really feel like it just tied up and finished so beautifully. A deeper story than I ever initially expected, but so good.
If You Tell a Lie is my current desk audiobook and I’m a few hours in. So far, it’s good not great. We’ll see where I am with it on Monday!

I hope you have the best weekend! Cross your fingers the Mountaineers get a big win on the road, it’s SO needed!
xx
