Hi! I’m back with another quick reminder for when you’re closing on your home. I have lots of buyers this spring that are quickly approaching their closing dates. I thought it would be important to make a checklist of what to look for on this very important last walk before the property is YOURS!
The final walkthrough is so important, and something many newer real estate agents don’t think about. I’m here to tell you that this is SO important as the purchaser. You never know when the condition of the property has changed or something has been damaged (the nightmare stories I could tell you).
The goal of the final walkthrough is to confirm that all agreed upon repairs are completed, everything is in a state or condition that both parties have agreed and that nothing has conditionally changed. Below is a great checklist for what to look for when you’re going through your walkthrough. (If we’re working together, I am providing this list for you!)
