This week has been . . . WOOF. A lot of moving parts and so, so, so much good but I injured my calf muscle and it’s not healing like I want (as I type this, my right leg is being elevated). I am so ready to walk, run and dance as normal (if you know me, you know I love a little midday dance moment or mid-class dance).
All of that to be said, my week started off with SO much creativity. I attended Katie Sturino’s book event and stop reading this right and order her new book. While you’re at it, order her first book (it’s a nonfiction must-read). I learned all about Libro.FM and now I am obsessed. I have some news that I’ll be sharing in the coming weeks, and I’m so excited for it. Two changes, both very good and exciting. I feel so very creatively inspired right now; this is something I haven’t felt in such a long time!
What I’m Loving this Week:
I’m putting it out there: July is a no clothes buying month for me!! I’ve found some really great buys lately and have a few items on my wishlist, but I do not need anything new in July! I have everything I need!
-J.Crew has a great sale going on; extra 60% off of sale. My top three dresses are a great black & white classic, a fun halter and this white midi.
-This Hill House sale find is not in-season, but a really great staple. I have the short-sleeved version and love.
-I finally purchased one of the two gingham dresses I’ve been lusting over. I just couldn’t not, I walked right past the store and she was practically screaming to move in with me.
-Here’s what’s in my Tuckernuck cart to lust over: a cream puff sleeve number, a fun green bag (I do NOT need another bag, I do NOT need another bag), the perfect shade of green eyelet, and a colorblocked cutie.
-Anthropologie is tempting us all with extra 50% off of sale this weekend. My top picks: a fun European-inspired shift, this strapless little steal, my favorite shirtdress of all time, that same shirtdress in a solid black mini (a genuine perfect staple IMO), and finally MY FAVORITE JUMPSUIT is $19.95 and 50% off.
-I’m still living in these lulu pants, perfect to throw on and go. They wash up so well!
-Sephora has one of their sale going on, here are my picks: a great setting spray (perfect for this HEAT), a mini self-tanning set, the best tanning water and a lux lip color.
What I’m Reading/Listening to this Week:
–Buy this thriller. Right now. It’s so good. This author is hit or miss for me, but I’m loving this multi-POV.
–I LOVED this story. And its ending.
-It goes without saying that Katie’s new book is SO great. Buy it. Buy three of them.
