Happy … er, Saturday?! Friday Faves did not go out as planned yesterday, my apologies! It was A DAY. It started out so busy with work (a GOOD thing) and wound up with an eight-hour travel day (that should have been roughly three hours).
Woof.
That travel day culminated in a four-hour uber ride that was interesting to say the least.
Favorites this week; I finished one book I really enjoyed, one that I did not enjoy at all and started looking at Christmas decor and gifts.
Currently: Sitting on the couch in Morgantown questioning why I did not pack a base layer for my run this morning. Eeeek!
I’m officially done with holiday clothes shopping and need every excuse to wear sequin and sparkles this season.
What I’m Loving this Week:
-I found the cutest ornaments for my tree. The color is so rich in person. Obsessed.
-The best holiday pants, I can’t wait to wear with a chunky sweater and heeled boots.
-This matching set is perfect for the season, the top is true to size but the skirt runs short so maybe size up!
-I found this leopard top a few weeks ago and finally wore it, and I love it. It’s just so good for every day.
-I found another pair of sneaks I love, this color combo is so great.
-The Hill House sale is still going on and there are some great dresses on sale. This one screams holiday season to me.
Speaking of the holidays, I found THE cutest pop-up trees that I think I need in every room. The office, the guest room, they would be adorable in any room for some fun, festive pop.
My go-to kitchen gift is on sale for $95. One year, I think I gifted seven of these? I use mine often and really do love it. Their air fryer is great too (and SO cute).
What I’ve Read/Listened to this Week:
Again, not my best week. I sadly did not love our book club book and I am curious to see what everyone else thinks (if no one liked it, I’ll just ask everyone to mahj).
-I finished Society of Lies and liked it! I thought the twist was unexpected.
-I am almost done with my most recent Freida McFadden and it’s really good!!
