Are we . . . almost halfway through September? Is this real life? Somehow, the answer to that is yes.
I’m back in Charleston, doing showings, teaching mahj, stitching, and . . . heading back to West Virginia in two weeks! I really love to try to get to Morgantown as much as possible during the football season, I can’t help it. The lure of cooler, fall temps helps too.
This past week was packed, and I’m so thrilled to say that one of my listings is getting C L O S E close to coming back on the market after her little glow up. She’s going to be just so, so cute. I can’t wait to share!
My sweet little downtown listing is still for sale, it’s (im)patiently waiting for its new owners! Know anyone looking for an investment downtown? If so, send them my way.
Let’s talk FALL clothes for a moment.
I am really, really trying to shop my closets and be intentional about my buying.
I am telling myself daily that I do not need any more pairs of jeans until the trends/styles take another hard 90 degree pivot.
Prior to my denim ground stop, I found this pair on sale and told myself they were the last pair for at least through the fall (help me hold myself to this). If you happen to be looking for some other sale options, here’s I have that are way marked down now: a baby barrel leg that I just really love. Size down on these!
If I were to buy another fall pair of ballet flats, I would 100% do a fun color. I have this exact pair in a metallic, and I’m excited to carry those into fall but the purple, oh my.
I’m calling it now and my new mules will be my shoe of the season. I broke them in on my trip to West Virginia, and they’re great now and will be even better when real fall is here.
Literally seven years ago, I bought this candle in a different vessel and it became my fall candle personality. It’s now finally back in a large vessel and I instantly added it to my cart.
I’m officially back in marathon training, gearing up for my second marathon in December and experienced some tight thighs for the first time in MONTHS this week. Ankles, thighs, everything felt tight. I’m considering a tens unit. Have you used one before? I really like the new running sneaks I got last week. I definitely don’t think they’re my distance pair, but a great easy run pair!
I finished my audiobook from my trip and I really enjoyed how it wrapped up. I have about an hour left of an older book about the Caribbean and I can’t stop giggling at it, it’s very enjoyable. Once I’ve finished it, I think I will move directly into my version of spooky season: thriller books. I’m not a huge Halloween gal, but I do love a thriller or a slightly spooky book to read or listen to! Do you have any recs?
Have the best week, make it great!
xx
