A Sunday Spot: 42

Happy Sunday! By the time I publish this, I will be done with my last truly long run before the marathon. It’s been quite the training block. Lots of lows, a few highs, a moderate amount of stress. We’re making it through!
We’ve got a big birthday celebration in the house tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited. One of my two favorite people to celebrate, easily. (And hopefully one little surprise to pull off!)

I have a confession: I’m in full Christmas mode. I don’t decorate for Thanksgiving and I am not going to be in Charleston for Thanksgiving, so I am leaning into Christmas earlier than most people would (I know). I’m really toying with whether or not I should go full holiday nostalgia in my teeny tiny condo or if I am insane and need to pump the breaks.
There’s really only one right answer here, but would love any input.

This week has been so much busier than I initially anticipated, which is a good thing but it does mean I have to remember to be adaptable and move my plans around.
My cute West Ashley listing has had a $10,000 price reduction, please continue to share it with your people!
In the pattern of townhomes, take another look at my charmer downtown. Some fresh cosmetic work and a teeny glow up over here!
As 2026 winds down soon (le sigh), I will be taking on 2027 clients should you need to buy or sell, or have a friend. The highest compliment you could give is an introduction, and I would be so honored.

I’ve finished a few good books this week:
-a new JT Ellison that I really, really enjoyed
-a recommended witch book, which was good but not GREAT
-the new Emily St. John Mandel, whose books I love (such slow burns)

J.Crew released their holiday collection this week, and it’s giving peak nostalgia, which isn’t helping my desire to overly 90s Christmas my condo. Some of my favorite pieces:
–Classic pajamas are always a need. Does anyone else do new pajamas every Christmas Eve?
–Plaid. Taffeta. Literally say less.
-Speaking of taffeta, navy screams both holiday and year-round. Give me navy pants paired with black silk bow heels any day. (You need those shoes, fyi)
-This ball skirt will be so good dressed up and down, both. I’m in love.

Something I love, but do NOT need and would wear truly only once: a color blocked coat. I talked about holiday pajamas above, but I really love a matching set and am realizing what I want is more long sleeve x shorts combos. I don’t own any pajamas from this brand but I may tell Santa I need these.

We’re having a super fun early bird dinner tonight, I can’t wait!
See you soon!
xx
